Carrefour du PREDIT
PREDIT is a research programme of innovation in terrestrial transport. That meeting is about plenary sessions, workshops and meetings. On Wednesday the 16th (from 9:00 to 11:00) a workshop about SME and Europe takes place. ANVAR and RST will do a presentation of EURO-TRANS. Different topics will be analyzed:
- Last calls of the FP6
- Witness of an SME participating to FP6
- Presentation of the ERTRAC and ERRAC platforms and the opportunities of the big ongoing programmes
- Presentation of EURO-TRANS and coaching for SMEs
AMAA 2005 9th International Forum on Advanced Microsystems for Automotive Applications
Berlin
Over the past years enormous progress has been made in the microsystems area in transforming research results into marketable products. Nearly all economic sectors did benefit from these developments. Automobiles today are inconceivable without microsystems. New and improved functions in the car related to safety, performance, comfort and emission reduction - being in many cases the unique selling propositions of a new automobile product - are in the majority of cases based on microsystems. ABS, break assistance, stability control and further safety features, applications in air-condition systems, powertrain and engine management are only some examples for the indispensable role of microsystems in automobiles. Microsystems and their underlying technologies are in many cases even the driving forces in order to satisfy new customers' requirements.
This years event will host a EURO-TRANS stand in order to match consortium members for upcoming EU-RTD Framework calls, i.e. call 3B in Thematic Priority 6 first of all.

CRONET-DAYS
CRONET - European Business Days for RTOs Surface Transport"
28 & 29 April 2026 - Ecole des Mines de Nantes - France
A first-class business opportunity for all Research Technology Organisations active in road, rail and
maritime transport technologies.
These RTO business days are designed to help RTOs market themselves to other RTOs, and to firms and other research organisations, with an interest in surface transport technologies.
Part of the programme is dedicated to presentations of the major FP6 projects - IPs, NoEs, Technology Platforms (ERRAC, ERTRAC, WATERBORNE, ARTEMIS, HFP) - related to surface transport: needed participation of RTOs and future research needs (future FP7).
These represent potential business opportunities in themselves: many NoEs are seeking to add new partners and serve as platforms from which groups of partners generate European projects; many IPs launch sub-projects which require specialist sub-contractors to provide specific technologies.
More than 200 RTOs, large and small firms and other research organisations are expected in Nantes for the two days. Each afternoon will be devoted entirely to private one-to-one meetings between participants. Each organisation taking part is invited to complete a profile of its expertise and to indicate other organisations it would like to meet. The organisers will timetable these meetings in advance and provide every participant with a personalised schedule of appointments.

MARI.NA 2005 The International Technology Transfer Day in MARItime and NAvigation field
The event is organized by IRC MEDIA and CIRCE in collaboration with the IRC network.
Today the increasing interest in tourism and the cooperation policies between the different Mediterranean countries together with the commercial exchanges are the principal factors to promote a process of integration and development. The nautical sector is a growing sector in Sicily and this year many events will be held in October. Palermo will host the forum about the tourism of Mediterranean Islands organized by INSULEUR the network of Insular Chambers of Commerce and Industry of EU, in parallel Trapani (120 km from Palermo) will host the Louis Vuitton Cup as part of Americas cup.
The MARI.NA 2005 Technological Transfer Day is going to be organised in this context.
A transnational event focused on a very broad technological sector can be an opportunity for companies, universities and research centres to meet each other and to exchange innovative solutions.
In order to better focus the event, the technologies involved for the nautical sector and for the nautical tourism in the Mediterranean will be:
Industrial manufacturing, material and transport technologies
Electronics, IT and telecommunications
Transport and shipping technology
Construction technology
Environment (environmental engineering/technology, remote sensing technology, water pollution/treatment)
Shipbuilding
Design and interiors design
Tourism
The T.T.D. aims at matching technology profiles promoted by European companies and research centres in order to facilitate technology transfer agreements in the following sectors:
Transports
Materials Technology
Information Communication
Environment
Technology Sports and leisure
It is addressed to universities, research centres and enterprises working in the following fields:
Industrial manufacturing
Material and transport technologies
Electronics, IT and Telecomms
Transport and shipping technology
Construction technology
Environment (environmental engineering/technology, remote sensing technology, water pollution/treatment)
Shipbuilding
Design
Tourism
The event will bring together suppliers and users of technology and know-how from all over Europe to discuss solutions and new opportunities (collaborations in FP6 projects as well) for the future. Its aim is to initiate collaborations, to promote the transfer of know-how and the industrial application of the scientific results in the maritime and navigation field.
For this purpose, participants will have the opportunity to present technology offers or technology requests in a catalogue. Bilateral meetings will then be pre-scheduled, according to individual delegate interests, between seekers and providers of technology. Meetings will be a 1-day collateral session to The 1st International Forum in Maritime and Navigation field.
The event is already on the IRC Intranet web: http://www.ircnet.lu/src/events/viewdetails.cfm?EventID=1241
and on the IRC public website: http://irc.cordis.lu/bemt/home.cfm?EventID=1241
We would be very pleased to have your organization as partner of the event. We kindly request your presence at the TTDay and some of your clients (SMEs, Universities, Research Centres, etc) involvement with technologies profiles to be inserted in the catalogue. After registration at the address: http://irc.cordis.lu/bemt/registration.cfm?eventid=1241 you can insert your profiles using the following link: http://irc.cordis.lu/bemt/profilereg.cfm?eventid=1241
The event is free of charge.
Please confirm us your intention on becoming a partner by the end of March.
